UPDATE: Russia signs agreement to give $1 bln loan to Belarus

MINSK, Dec 21 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has signed an agreement to give two U.S. $500 million tranches of a state loan to Belarus, the Finance Ministry of Belarus said in a statement on Monday.

The Belarusian ministry said that the first tranche can be provided in 2020 and the second in 2021.
